Dogs off leash

If you are travelling with your four legged friend, the Capricorn Coast is a great place to visit! Unless signposted to say otherwise, dogs are permitted off leash on all beaches before 8am and after 4pm (all other times dogs must be on a leash).

Day time off leash beaches are Farnborough Beach, Yeppoon (from Bangalee boat ramp south to Barwells Creek with access via Hinz Avenue) and Emu Park Main Beach (from the beach access 150 metres north of Bell Park to Tanby Point with access via Hill Street). This excludes public holidays and weekends.
