Forest Fields Campstay

Forest Fields Campstay is a quiet, natural bush camp – your base to either relax or explore local forests, national parks, and other unique attractions.

Catering for the self-sufficient camper, Forest Fields Campstay offers an opportunity to reconnect with nature and enjoy the wide, open spaces.

This area is home to the Great Imperial Fruit Dove [or Wompoo Pigeon] and the unique Byfield Fern [Bowenia Serralata]. Forest Fields Campstay is situated on the “migratory trail”, meaning that different birds are always passing through.

Originally a citrus orchard, the hosts decided to diversify. They planted Quandong and Byfield Pine trees for timber, and now have many varieties of fruit trees including sapotes, sapodillas, grumachumas, jaboticabas, jackfruit, avocadoes, and bananas.

With a unique farm gate consisting of microwaves turned treasure chests, full of exotic dehydrated fruit, rosella teas, cordials, jams, chutneys, and dessert fruit all grown with love from Middle Earth Organics.

Only 30 minutes from Yeppoon, the pet-friendly farm sleeps up to 25 guests and accommodation ranges from the hand-crafted timber Chalet to the rustic Studio and Eco Campers. Guests can rent the whole farm for family and friends, or simply get away from it all on your own and lose yourself in nature.
